I will also not pull the mod, and will keep it on the net since any takedowns would be without merit. This mod aims at modifying Dawn of War 2 Retribution to portray combat in a more lore-accurate manner. Prepare to find Space Marines as powerful as the books depict them, ork hordes in their hundreds, and dozens of Guard tanks shelling into an incoming tyranid horde!
Description
2.1 full release Install the mod into your main Dow II retribution folder. Readme file included with Credits and instructions. Run either with Astartes.bat, or go to your Steam, go to Retribution, go to Properties, set launch options as "-modname Astartes" ,without the ""s. I recommend setting graphics to Ultra high before installing or mod may crash on space marines. Races , tactics, and units: Space marines heroes all have a separate race attached. Chapter commander is Adeptus Astartes, unlocking the contemporary 40k Space marines. Legion commander is Legiones Astartes, unlocking the 30k era late Great Crusade Space marines. Grey Knights commander is Daemonhunters, unlocking the Grey Knights. IG heroes are the same: Cadian commander unlocks the standard IG. Krieg commander unlocks the Krieg IG. Not suppressible, but fire slower if more powefully with their lasguns. Tau commander: Tau race, similar a bit to IG. Very weak in melee, but good at range with plasma weapons.

Is there a changelog I could look at?
I just document changes on the discord.
But I can do a small rundown:
-Fixed regular IG ogryn bonehead model glitch that made him into a big walking black box.
-Added Chaos Hero, Warpsmith , a chaos techmarine.
-Added Chaos Hero, Dark Apostle, a Chaos Apothecary/summoner.
-Added Knight of NSWF's new gun icons from Wrath for stuff like grav and volkite weapons, so they no longer use bolter icons.

Hello, will there be version 2.2 soon? Because the game still crashes regularly which is a shame. Especially with the orks and their missiles.
Also I wonder if we can have the dlc as the elite mod.
So I would like to have the chaos bersekers and the blood drinker as an extra like in Dawn of war Soulstrorm.
This mod would be perfect!
Why does this include .ucs files from Vanilla and other mods?
Seems like these should not be included with the mod package?
Unexperienced users may not understand how/why this overrides existing vanilla files, instead of using it's own. It obviously has its own too, I'm just curious as to why so many others are included. A mistake?
This mod was a continuation of the old Destroyer mod by Aradiel/Bloodravage and thus uses other mod's assets.
Shouldn't be the problem.
