Vegas 2 Realism Mod v2.4 file

Well, I was inspired by Rainbow 6 : Siege and I have made v2.4 of my Vegas 2 Realism Mod. Unfortunately this will be the last version of this mod. Vegas 2 is still my favorite FPS and I have played quite a few of them. I just happen to have a little time to make a few minor tweaks based on my experience and research that I have done over the past few years. A big thanks to Myk for his letter pointing out some mistakes I made.
Version 2.4 – Due to popular demand, among the changes is an update to a few of the magazine capacities.
I have also changed the USP40 to shoot .357 SIG. I found out that there is a .357 SIG USP and even if the gun in game is the USP40, it could be converted by a simple barrel swap, which would be plausible for a member of Rainbow Six if he wanted the benefits of the better penetration and more energy of the .357 SIG. This change however means the this model no longer has the ability to be suppressed. However in the interest in of having more variety in the game I think you'll like it.
I have changed the MP9 to shoot the 6.5 x 25mm CBJ tungsten sabot round. This makes it more of a PDW like the P90, but with better penetration and less damage due to its tendency to over-penetrate. This also makes this model unable to be suppressed. Happily there are still plenty of SMG's to choose from that can be suppressed. It should be fun to punch through pretty much any body armor with this round, even more so than the 5.7x28mm.
I have updated the semi-auto fire rate in the game to be even more realistic. It is now based on the recoil of the gun. It is now faster, so you can pretty much fire as fast as you can press a button, but pace your shots or it won't matter how fast you shoot as you won't hit anything if you fire before your gun, after recoiling, returns to it's initial position. I still kept it reasonable though, in order to keep the NPC's from just spraying bullets constantly.
Hope you enjoy my last version of this mod. Who knows, if Rainbow 6 : Siege is able to be modded, I just my get a mod out for that one too. Looking at the trailer, though, there is already a lot of things I would change, like being able to break boarded up windows by hitting them. I mean really, what kind of crappy wood are they using? Hasn't anyone there ever tried to actually break a board? Without using the karate trick I mean, and YES it is a trick. And the wall breach charge needs to be way bigger. They actually make a nice neat hole the size of the charge. We'll see what they do. In the mean time, play Vegas 2 again! With the Vegas 2 Realism Mod v2.4 of course!
