Vanilla Naval Battles 1.0 Released!
Hello all and welcome! This new mod features Naval Battles compatibility into Rome: Total War! With this mod, you can finally get your hands on ships that you always wanted to!
This mod is now released, and it gives you the standard Rome: Total War feeling, but with something extra. Because now, it is possible to play custom battles with ships on real water! The standard ship from the campaign map are available in the unit selection list, and some changes are made to make them better.
ADDED SHIPS:
- Bireme for most factions (excluding barbarians)
- Boats for barbarian factions
- Trireme for most factions (excluding barbarians)
- Large boats for barbarian
- Pirate ship for the rebels
- Quinquereme for most factions (excluding barbarians)
- Corvus Quinquereme for greeks and romans, with
- Greek version have an onager
- Romans have a ballista
I created new animations for ships sinking, full sound when moving, and ofcourse fitting units on the decks!
