Zombies are OP

Absolutely amazing mod, I installed this and played it for 8 hours straight. I destroyed westeros with the white walkers, defended the throne as king joffrey, and spent ages messing around with the dragons in custom battles. 10/10 good stuff!!

POSITIVES:
Brings game of thrones to RTW
Westeros and Essos
White Walker faction
Dragons

NEGATIVES:
No custom settlement
Annoying when the Tullys attack the Starks, they are supposed to be allies

Looking forward to more updates

Instant 9 from the concept, will instantly enjoy, eagerly anticipated a GoT total war mod on RTW as a pose to the Medieval ones.

I really wanted to give this mod a god score, but I just can't, because the creator totally screwed the game mechanics.

It's very fun playing with your favorite house and characters. Until some ******** happens like you, as the Starks, getting attacked by the Night's Watch and the Tullys, but ok, it's the game, the author can't change that.

But the most screwed thing it's the unit balance. I attacked a unit of dismounted nobles with three units of infantry plus three units of cavalry (each coming from one side, which means the nobles were completely surrounded and overwhelmed), but still I lost A LOT of men before they started retreating, and even that took quite a while. It seems flank/rear attack don't matter anymore. In the original RTW, the infantry unit would be recked, even if they were Spartan Warriors. Archers barely kill anyone too, I had three units of archers firing a not-moving infantry unit, and before they ran out of ammo they killed like 30 guys, which is pathetic.

Also, the creator has made siege UNPLAYABLE. Seriously, it's ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE to play siege unless you sap (some cities don't let you do even that) or starve the city out (which takes AT LEAST 7 or 8 turns)

And plus: It's absurdely hard to get money in this game, since you get most money from captured cities and you take an absurd amont of time to take ONE city. Also, cities don't grow, which makes slavery pointless.

And there are some minor things like some characters saying "Welcome, friend of Rome!" or "Rome demands victory from their generals".

Like I said, I wanted to give a good review, because I love Game of Thrones and the map is very well made and well divided between a lot of factions, but the game mechanics are SCREWED.

PS: I'm editing my review and giving it a 3, because at some point THE GAME CRASHES AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO, YOU END YOUR TURN AND THE GAME JUST CRASHES. ****** MOD.

Great mod! though the only problem that makes the game almost unplayable is the crashes. any crash could go in anytime in the game. mostly around 304-305AC and even if u pass those years by some miracle without crashes it still can come later even at 320AC+.

this mod has the Potential to be THE GREATEST MOD in RTW! you should improve the castle sieges, add units and castle and fixes crashes and then it will be truly the greatest!

Very good mod. All of this game has the same in the novel.

A very good mod overall. a few things could use refining, such as the factions north of the wall and the severely underpowered Targaryen dragons. But overall a very well put together mod, I look forward to seeing what this mod can do in the future.

A lot good, but still needs some more work, voice packs need to be changed to be closer to the ones in the show, Danny's picture is a man, Jon needs to be a Stark (now this one is impossible with the rtw engine but would be cool if you could find a way), more cities and families, the rest is good, white walkers are awsome (they should have more towns rather than one, but the game map can't be expanded that much).
