You are an operative of VAKinc, a secret military research company who, upon the Combine invasion of Earth, went into hiding. VAKinc has been sending Agents like you out to combat the Combine secretly, and lend a helping hand to the resistance. However on your latest mission, you screwed up royally, and the Combine captured you and all of the VAKinc tech you had on your person at the time. The game starts two and a half days after you escape the Combine. Your VAKinc Dispatcher, Julia, has established contact with you and is guiding you back home. Your mission: avoid the Combine forces crawling the area, regain or destroy the tech you've lost, and get back home. VAKinc: Testing Grounds is the first in a series of Episodic "VAKinc" releases developed by the VAKinc Team.

Level design is better now than it was before. Still doesn't feel like a prison at all though. It's rather blocky and plain. You need more props. Also, in the beginning it seemed a bit like decal spamming on the walls. Decals are good as long as you don't overuse them. Props can also take away from the feeling of decal spam. The whole layout seemed a bit too linear. I'll provide some links to help fix that issue at the bottom of this comment. The beginning part where you wake up is kind of interesting, in my opinion. Overall, good work so far but your level design still needs a lot of work. By the way, I applied for a mapping position and we exchanged a few emails but I was never told if I was part of the team or not. Send me a PM.

A few people recommended that rather than having people start just in the middle of a forest after escaping, instead have them start in the prison they are escaping from and let them escape in a short sequence. People also told me to work on the level design. A lot of people. So here is the second video. Not much combat, it's mostly just showing everyone what the level looks like.
