UT Space Battle is a game mod for UT3 and UT2004 which comprises a space combat simulation which aims primarily to explore innovative game play through the use of unconventional aspects that distinguish it from existing shooters and strategy games. Gamplay for both UT2004 and UT3 is the same, with only graphical differences. The mod is still in alpha stage and currently does not have much in the way of polish or documentation. However, it is functional and may be of interest to those wishing to follow the progress of the mod. Because it is in alpha stage there may be bugs cropping up in each new release and game balance may shift from release to release. See also the UT2004 page for UT2004 specific media.

Just a quick update: A new snapshot of the current working version has been taken and uploaded. Most of the updates are internal so may not be externally obvious. The most obvious improvement is that the mod should no longer crash when changing maps. There has also been some changes to the HUD. The mod is still in an alpha stage but development has been active.
