Here's how these two weapons are looking with their textures applied
The pistol looks wooden, and the disc looks really rusty. :-/
Search Google for images of the actual predator disc and you will find all sorts of similar pictures.

There was no pistol in the movies (to my knowledge) but if you look at the actual game's files you'll notice that the original textures are much blurrier and overall extremely sloppy. Postimg.org
Now you see what Newt has to work with.
If it were up to me, I would change it for the better.

The Pistol was in AVP: Requiem, when Wolf Predator took the Plasma Cannon off his power supply (Backpack) and used backup power (which was auto-recharging).
