242 gbs? I think arma 3 might have a rival when it comes to mod sizes. But seriously is it actually 242 gbs or is there some mistake?
Was just gonna ask the same. It's strange since the last version was smth. like 17 Gb.
Probably a mistake, i went to qbittorrent and if you diselect the 200 gbs file and leave the rest, wich as far as i can understand is the actual mod, then the size should be around 24 gbs, wich seems more logical.

Well for now the best thing you can do until the team of the mod fixes this, is just download it with out the 200 gbs file.

Having the same error as well "cannot open torrent, is damaged or in the wrong format" Same error with different torrent clients

So whenever I try to download the torrent I think it causes a memory leak or something as my CPU load suddenly increases and before long my qbitorrent client goes unresponsive and my page file suddenly triples in size.
Forcing me to shut down the program and restart my machine.
I have yet to encounter any other torrent file that has done this to me so something must be awry with the file.

Torrent is a bit of a mess, yes, but it's downloadable if you use qbittorrent and are persistant. Each time you close client torrent is gone so you have to add it again and go through recheck.
So, I struggled with the listed instructions, so if you're like me and are struggling to find the files required:
-the 'module' files that you need to put in your main Soulstorm folder are inside the .7z with the .torrent file, not inside the torrent itself
-The mod should be inside a Unification_Bugfix folder inside of your Soulstorm directory
-If you want movies in campaign, you copy them from the DXP2 folder inside your base Soulstorm directory and drop them into your Unification_Bugfix folder, not the other way around
I don't mean to criticize the team since they're doing great work, but those instructions really need to be reworked imo, they don't make it very clear where the files they're referring to are located and it creates a lot of unnecessary confusion. I get that the torrent version isn't a priority for the team, but large browser downloads are prone to spontaneous failure and errors, and if the torrent version is this obtuse to install (despite ultimately being a really simple process) you're just turning away people who'd otherwise be interested in your mod.

For example the first point. Quoting from the actual instructions found on this very page:
"- Download the above pack* and extract it.
- Cut and paste the two module files included above inside your main Soulstorm folder."
* "above pack" ofc referring to the Unification Bugfix v6.9.0 torrent *pack*"
Torrent doesn't work.
Seems to absolutely wreck my torrent client (qBittorrent) when trying to download it. Ram usage through the roof, whole PC grinds to a halt. I downloaded bigger torrents (both in size and in amount of files) without problems..

I support the words of RomRomRya! There are no Sids, and the torrent itself does not download files at all. It is better to download a torrent from "dow-mod.ru", where everything is normally collected and there are a lot of givers. Yes, the patch file with "Yandex.Disk" will be downloaded quickly.

What do you mean? Did you download Repack by Tihiy_Don by any chance? If yes, then you downloaded the wrong torrent: there is a built-in Russifier. It is necessary to select "All files 6.9.0 + music pack". There is no translation there.
