I hate to be a nay-sayyer here, but I prefer honest to giving undue compliments.
...some of the scenes in the trailer are straight-up Nova Prospekt. In fact, a lot of the environments seemed highly similar to what I'd expect from Half-Life 2. That's not to say they're bad but... I just felt they looked a little too much like HL2. Perhaps it's just me, but it seemed highly reminiscent.
Otherwise, well done teaser and looking like a well-done mod.
Whilst I agree with you, there is a large amount of work that I can see, both in-game and in the trailers. All people have to draw water from the same old well, he still is using textures, models, and props from the Nova Prospect chapter of Half-Life 2. He probably also played through Nova Prospect alot in order to have a guide and inspiration for what he wanted to create. +1 for honesty, however.
It's also a prison...like what Nova Prospekt had the look of. Very nice, Mxthe! I'm still impressed!

That was ******* intense.
I hate to get teased like that...
But just a small question: Prologue and Nightmare House 1/2 had all imo too much amunition (and flashlight enerergy/to fast recharging flashlight energy but that was mor nh1/2). will ep 1 have less? also: prologue imo was so great but it looks and feels very incomplete and with much wasted potential in the visuals. Will the house (and/or some other elements of the prologue) also get some improvements with ep 1?
Also I love this project and I think I will buy the soundtrack because they are as epic as the project itself :)

OH. MY. GOD. I CANT WAIT UNTIL WINTER!!!! Kidding, you can't rush perfection. The Prologue was awesome, and now im SUPER hyped for Chapter 1. Kudos to you Mxthe for making an epic mod.

-lets pretend they have shiny heads

These are evil demons from the deep ground that have been disturbed by the mining facility after being down for thousands of years.

6. One had an RPG and shot down Frank's chopper, so I somehow doubt it.
I can't say it looks amazing, because I will be lying. I can't think of a word to express how great this looks, but well, for a simple teaser trailer, this is looking fantastic. Amazing job.
