Long time no update fellas, so here comes a little one. Today i've more or less completed the Instigator Titan missing death animation along some more others missing as well. If all goes well the Instigator will make it's appearance within the next patch, yay!
It needs some in-game testing though for making it pretty overall but so far it looks quite well in-game.
Next On List: The Agony Titan
For a moment, I mind rise 2 words:
Unit Lost!!!
Hm, reminds me of C&C3; especially the Juggernauts.
Super super cool, master
I love it
looks like it was running and then there was a tiny stone)
Shhhhhhh
He's not dead, just sleepy
Hes taking a power nap
I guess this will be like the Eldar variant but without that incredible healing ability.
Looking good thanks for showing!!
How can I open the units animations like this one in the vanilla game?
Thanks in advance!

PS: Tried to play the UA Mod with the optional Races (DIDHT module version) but the game mod dont work and lots of missing things appear listed into the Warnings.txt, so I cannot play the new factions...
did you install the races seperately? there seems to be a proble with inqusition and tranids that requires you to install them separetely . daemons is fine though.
Now I understood, the new races requires the normal race mod, and them I edited to fit with my own mod, so they make incombatibility issues with the UA mod, nevermind (even if I tried to load only the UA Tyranids mod and the log says that lots of files are missing, file I've checked are not in the Standard Tyranid mod and in the UA version)
Now my really primary important question is:
How can I open the units animations like this one in the vanilla game?
This is really important because Santos mod tools only works for DOW 2 and I need to see the model animations of DOW 1 Soulstorm!
Thanks again! ;)
I am not drunk!
Nice!
I tried and retried endless times to use t but it's simply impossibhe Object Editorle to use, can some one explain me a really deep step by step guide on how to manage to use it, PLEASE!
I tried to read the tutorials on forums.relicnews.com but still cannot use it, why it is not too simple like:
Open file, navigate into your game mod folder, data\art\ebps\races\yourrace\troops\yourtroop.whm or whe... why it is not simple!!!
Thanks in advance
When was modding ever simple? In order to open a .whm you'll need 3ds Max 8/9 or 2008/2009 not any version above it since it's SDK changed and the Plug-Ins won't work anymore.
Inside 3ds Max you import the desired .whm but even using the plug-in provided by relic importing units may fail, especially when you try to import units that were not made by relic.
The Object Editor is only necessary to see the FX applied to the animations and in order to open it you'll need to create the resprective .sgm file by reexporting your just import mesh along it's animations and then open the .ebp file that you may have just created in 3ds Max as well using the XRef tool provided by relic as well.
Easy is something different...
Yes you are right, its just I was in habit to modding Age of Empires 2, and that is really simple comparated to this game, however, I just need to see the animations of the unit and export them to gifs files (like the Istigator Death animation showed above) for others purpuoses, not for modding DoW, but unfortunately my laptop don't support tools like Photoshop and 3Dsmax, just Gimp is at the border of the requirements, so I will never have the chance to get those animations! Thanks anyway for everythings and sorry for the bother! ;)

Looks a little bit too slow, but still very nice.
Yeah it looks like he is gaining momentum and is falling much faster in the moment when he is bent backwards and then slows down gradually after he just tips the balance forward. Weird
