This modifier increases the number of turns per year for Grand Campaign. Similar to the four seasons. Good for playing with small nations and developing each of them.
This change can only be accessed in the Grand Campaign. The year will take 4 turns, equivalent to 4 seasons. In this special case each turn switches off between winter and summer:
Turn 1 - Summer
Turn 2 - Summer
Turn 3 - Winter
Turn 4 - Winter
The additional time brings more realism and facilitates the economic of small nations. As well as the navigation time that took up to 3 months or 6 months to cross the Atlantic... More time, more challenges!
Installation
You should install in your Total War folder below (by default) or elsewhere with Ultima Ratio:Black Label. Look carefully at your Total War folder to install properly...
Example -> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Empire Total War\data\campaigns\main
Compatible with all old versions:
Ultima Ratio 1.1.
Ultima Ratio 1.5
Ultima Ratio: Black Label
Would anyone recommend four turns per season over two?
To be honest I don't recommend it if you are an experienced player, I think the game is much easier. But some people want to play in that mode, so I made that option available.
I recently ended a campaign with Portugal at the normal level and two turns a year and it was very difficult! I think 2 turns a year is essential and for smaller nations it becomes an extra diplomatic challenge.
But it goes from each one, from each personal taste.
You can test it and say what you think too.
Enjoy!

Hi, I would like to report an error in the addon installer.
The startpos.esf file is incorrectly inserted in the folder:
Empire Total War\data\main
The correct path is:
Empire Total War\data\campaigns\main
This doesn't seem to work for me. I installed it to the correct directory, your *other* files appear in the correct directory however there is no sign of a 4 seasons file and it does not function in game.
Nvm I just read the above comment about the incorrect installation path and I now see it attempts to replace Startprefs. Even if it installed correctly it will likely replace my already modded Startprefs. I'll have to make the changes myself.
