I'm sorry but, those Apaches just look really silly with those weird halos. xD

Also, could you upload to and provide links for these vidoes on YouTube (Or another video website)? Moddb's Video service is god-awful... It took like 10 minutes to load this video.

They look sillier flying magically with invisible rotors, IMO.

i actually like the Apaches it reminded me of old school RTS's like Tib Dawn as much as it may seem wierd for helos to be static it gives it a classic asthetic like all the classic units in the mod do

I think it is a workaround because the Tiberian Sun engine does not support VXL helicopters with SHP. The original Tiberian Dawn as well as Red Alert actually had separately animated rotors. They can't really do anything about it (except switching to OpenRA when the TS support is more mature there).

I like the idea behind this video.
However, it kinda bothers me that there are TI buildings and units in this video. For me, they feel out of place in this video. I think it would be better to use the buildings and units from Tiberian Dawn since they would fit better to the period this video takes place.

I would use TD buildings, but unfortunately we don't have them in the game yet. All the units in the video are from TD era.

Hmmm... didn't you have TD-buildings in earlier betas?
Or are you remaking the TD-buildings like the team of "Return of the Dawn" did?

That's the plan.

Excellent. I'm looking forward to the remade buildings. :)

It seems kind of odd that the Mammoth Tank and soldiers would just sit there while being shot at by the Obelisk and Apache's in the first portion. I'd suggest having them attempt a retreat after the bridge is blown.

So these silos are Nod's SAM Sites?
Didn't you try to make burrowing turret or TS engine doesn't allow you to do such combinations?

Can't have a burrowing turret like TD had.

I suggest to remove one NOD helicopter around second 30 as it becomes twitchy.
