The Week of February 24 2019

A long time ago, Black mesa developers said they would do Xen compatible to the old version of Black Mesa (2012), but I am not sure it’s gonna happen. That’s why I decided not to use the content of official Black Mesa Xen in my mod for now. It gives me a possibility to port “Improved Xen” on Black Mesa 2012 without author rights contravention.

Following a period of peace after the defeat of the Primagen and his forces, Joshua must once again defend the people of the Lost Land as he fights back against a sudden and surprising attack from the survivors of the Primagen's armies. Venture through 5 maps seeking to capture the feeling of the original game while streamlining the gameplay and respecting the player's time, while also presenting new and exciting combinations of enemies in settings familiar yet new. (This mod is still in production; I'll be updating the levels as I finish making them, but I thought it'd be good to post something now that it's been playable for a while. Currently 4 of the 5 main worlds are accessible; the last one is intended to be more experimental)

Experience Calradia like never before in an unprecedented 'open-world' style RPG with persistent troop names, unique factions, stunning visuals - and no overworld map. In the newest version of Explorer! Join a faction, lay siege to enemy castles, raid villages, talk to the townsfolk!

A Quake 2 singleplayer unit by Quakeulf, for Quake 2's 20th anniversary. This unit was made only with myself in mind because at the time I made it I was the only one I knew who played Quake 2-custom content for singleplayer that I knew of. Since I have played the game on and off since its release, it is based around how familiar I am with the enemies and game mechanics. Therefore it is not suited for someone new to this game.

In a press release on the official Paradox News feed, the Swedish developer has announced a new partnership with Microsoft to introduce Paradox Mods, a new independent modding platform for Paradox games that works across both PC and Xbox One.

I was hoping all week we could have gotten featured on the front page or shown off in the week in mods. We worked so hard over the past 10 months to add all of this content for the latest news update. Please, if there is anywhere we could improve on our next news update let us know and we will try harder.

Thanks

Can you get some gameplay videos of the mod in action?

Hello! Well, unfortunately we lack a certain amount of good polish to the mod. We are going for HD tank sights and some more polish to our maps and planes. We still have a bit to do with weapons as well. So I think we aren't really at the point to do a gameplay video just yet. There are a lot of main systems done on the mod that are playable, but lack the fine polish we need to be truly ready to show it off. ;)

No problem! When you do reach that point, feel free to shoot me a message and I'd be happy to feature the mod.
