Turok 2 Ascension is yet another overhaul mod by myself for a classic game from my past recreated by the awesome dev team Nightdive Studios. Turok 2 was the first game I had ever played that I bought with my own money and so I was very critical of it at that time. I loved the game to death, but every flaw I saw in it I griped about it. So now, decades later I have taken it upon myself to try and make it even better than it already was. From crazier weapon abilities to more blood and gore to a nice HD/Upscaled Texture and Skin Pack to an increase in enemy numbers this mod aims to help Turok 2 ascend to a whole new level.

I'm gonna add some vocal taunts from these guys as you fight them.

Will they be able to do stuff that Soldiers Enemies in other FPS Games normally do? Like throw Grenades and attempt to flank or flush out the player

Throwing grenades is a no go. Once we can really edit animations for skinned meshes I'll definitely add more attack animations like tossing grenades. As far as combat goes they basically do what the Endtrails do. So yeah if theirs a path to flank they'll flank or try to get a better spot to take out their target. It's the best I can do for now. Their shotgun adds a new level of depth to the combat for sure. Do not get up close to them.

Description

Got the Enslaved Soldiers into the game. They spawn randomly from Raptoids. They add a bit of freshness to the enemies for now and they wear different colored armor from the original Araissi Soldier. They are armed with semiauto combat shotguns and are deadly up close. They taunt you when you're not in sight and they have very familiar death sound effects. If you get too close they will self detonate themselves and cause severe damage.
