Some may recall a Far Cry mod named 'Tuesday & Ark,' which appeared on Moddb back in 2007, and was originally released in 2005. It was a well-liked mod, but many felt it was let down by critical bugs and glitches. Lots of glitches. So, in late 2008, Robert-33 began work on a new version of the mod, with the aim of making the mod gleam as it should have on its initial release. The product of that work is 'Tuesday & Ark - Continuum'.
I've uploaded beta 3 of the mod. It should be downloadable soon. Much has been fixed, but I fear that maybe something has been lost. It's up to you to download it and decide for yourselves. The extra week of development was good, so much that it would have been unplayable before. Here's the changelog:
Beta 3 changelog: from beta 2.
()Players can now run, as they did in original T&A.
()Part 4 added.
()Various fixes and tweaks to various aspects of mod, including attempted AI route improvements, cinematics improvements, and such.
()Now using cubemapped reflections on character's eyes. This creates quite a pleasing effect when compared to the original T&A eyes.
()Added easy switch for HDR lighting, and fixed all known instances where it caused visual errors with boolean checking.
()The HDR compatibility required reworking the credits, because the renderer was oversaturating everything.
()Fixed settings corruption. (Hopefully.)
New beta almost ready. There are fixes, new content, and a new conclusion to Tuesday & Ark.
This build is supposed to fix a serious bug in T&A. Download this rather than vanilla Beta 3. Tuesday & Ark - Continuum is an attempt to build...
After much work and much artistic indecision, here is the third beta of Tuesday & Ark - Continuum; the first version to have entirely new situations...
Tuesday & Ark Continuum - Beta 2. This is an attempt to fix everything which was considerable to be wrong with the original T&A, with the exception...

What is this mod about may I ask... I don't download something unless I know what it is...
It's an Ico clone where you play a girl abandoned by her parents. You basically travel across an island, meeting a boy along the way, and climb to safety before a flood comes. It has no dialogue, but interesting enough cutscenes and visuals. Continuum is a tweaked version by another modder. It does fix a lot of the annoying bugs in the original, but it adds a silly fourth act which detracts from the rest of the mod.
Looks very interesting!
by the way, what is this game about? Is there a story?
Looks like a 3rd person view, I'm interested...
need a videO!!
Cough...30 downloads so far...none of you poor souls noticed the MASSIVE BUG preventing part 4 from loading...oh, woe. Here's how to fix it.
I sincerely apologise to anyone who downloaded beta 3 and was confronted with the rather serious bug which prevented part 4 from loading; instead loading part 3 again.
I am uploading a fixed copy of the mod, and here is how to fix the issue if you are running the affected version:
()Find this file 'T&A-Continuum\Levels\Part3\Part3.lua'. Open it using notepad or similar text editor, but not one which introduces formatting.
() Find this line" 'Game:SendMessage('StartLevel Part3');' (Try searching for 'Part3'). Change 'Part3' to 'Part4' then reenter mod. If you have saved anytime during part 3, load the save, walk out onto the dam, and it should work.
()Also, to simply boot part 4, press 'tilde [` key]' and a type '\map Part4' (without inverted commas)
()Once again, I am very sorry this happened. I should have tested even more; that bug was introduced on the day of release.
The graphics really look awsome, i have to replay this to give it a rating, you should hopefully hear from me soon.
Cheers
Garcy
Beautiful mod and great work, 9/10, though please fix that T & A changes the game files in such a drastic way that I had to reinstall Far Cry before I could continue working on my own mod... :/
I am working on that. Also working on ensuring HDR compatability for Beta 3, along with some experiments with reflective eyes for the characters. It's going a little slow, but should be ready soon.
I'm waiting beta3 release. :)
