Troy : Divine Playground is a multiplayer First Person Shooter (FPS) putting the emphasis on cooperative gameplay. It is a total conversion of the famous Half-Life 2 game. The mod is the final project of seven students in software engineering at the University of Sherbrooke. Most of the core members of the team have real experience in different game companies.
T:DP is all about defending and assaulting bases in a Greek setting – with an emphasis on teamwork. Players – agents of the Gods – will influence the tide of the Great Trojan War by possessing and controlling soldiers on the field. Customize your character with a unique skill system and use strategic mechanisms to dominate the battlefield!
Troy: Divine Playground 1.0 is out! Be sure to review the manual before playing the game, as there is much to learn before you can make a difference in the Great Trojan War!
We also created a trailer some time ago for the release: here it is!
Now as we announced before, development on this mod is stopping. The only way new versions with bug fixes will be released is if a team of serious developers offer their support for the mod. And by "serious" we mean a team that developed and released something on Source before.
This was a difficult choice for us to make, but it was either that or stopping the mod altogether and never publish a version. Since we had a lot of fun when playtesting the mod, I think you will all agree that pushing the mod out there was the good decision to take.
Enjoy the game, and drop us a line in our forums if you liked the mod!

Oh and another suggestion:
Have you thought of including an AI interface into the animation sequences? For instance, when throwing a spear, the 'bot' discerns whether or not it can throw it in the current position. And, if not, can jump away before throwing(so that the animation doesn't play through the other player or other material).
Idea is to make animations more life-like and complex, yet executing smoothly.
Just an idea...
Few questions and suggestions:
1. Is everything going along schedule?
2. Is it going to be strictly First person, or will others views be possible?
3. The team should hold a modelling or animation contest in order to add quality material to the game faster, and tap into other creative sources.
ATLAST ! atlast some one who know how the soldiers looked like. you are very very close to the real thing. keep up the good work.
ye lookin great ;Dkeep it up
