Troy : Divine Playground is a multiplayer First Person Shooter (FPS) putting the emphasis on cooperative gameplay. It is a total conversion of the famous Half-Life 2 game. The mod is the final project of seven students in software engineering at the University of Sherbrooke. Most of the core members of the team have real experience in different game companies.
T:DP is all about defending and assaulting bases in a Greek setting – with an emphasis on teamwork. Players – agents of the Gods – will influence the tide of the Great Trojan War by possessing and controlling soldiers on the field. Customize your character with a unique skill system and use strategic mechanisms to dominate the battlefield!

Now as we announced before, development on this mod is stopping. The only way new versions with bug fixes will be released is if a team of serious developers offer their support for the mod. And by "serious" we mean a team that developed and released something on Source before.
This was a difficult choice for us to make, but it was either that or stopping the mod altogether and never publish a version. Since we had a lot of fun when playtesting the mod, I think you will all agree that pushing the mod out there was the good decision to take.

help me i've downloaded this mod from 7 different mirrors and i do every thing the readme tells me to do but when i extract them it doesn't show up on my games list even after restarting steam?help?
This is (or better was) a great mod. I had a helluva lot of fun with it last summer.
It's so unfair - while mods like the hidden (ugh!) are still alive, this pearl of a mod is lying on the ground of the ocean of time. so sad :(

When i extract it the game just doesnt show up in steam. I have CS source but not Hl2 all the other mods such as PvkII work but will this one not work?
Do not dis this mod, it was INCREDIBLY fun when they were people playing... And FYI there is always one ded. server up.. just no one playing ( change your filters fool ). The style and imagination that it took to make this game is worthy of much honors. Think before speaking of what you do not know!! Foolish mortal.. I just wish people would start playing again.

I hope all of you know that the team quit working on this mod months ago! They all went to schools! The first release was actually an alpha/demo release! If they hadnt gone to the schools then the game would have been updated and better releases.. they were looking for people to take over.... so dont say it sucks since its basically a demo and alpha! I was at their forums! Do NOT insult their work! It was a demo and very buggy because they quit working on it! If you dont like it then leave it so stfu at you n00bs who says its gay and sucks! Their servers are probably down too since the site and they have quit working on it for last time i said that!
No servers. Gay. Also, when I try to create one, it says something about librarys.
