This is a 7 year right now project that started to the creation of a new fanfic faction but changed to an overhaul and expansion of the entire game. I made this mod with the idea of balanced freedom and realism (but also some what-if). There are so many characters and powers that would be enjoyable to use but are very limited in the vanilla game or in many other mods. With this project you can recruit and lead your army of MANY different units and heroes so that you could play the same faction in different ways. (Italian language default in game, but i will make the english version)

Description

TROWMOD Alpha version. This release will include all the up to date version of my work in this mod. I feel this could be an alpha balanced version between each factions. For every issues feel fre to contact me since i didn't have much time to test it completely. I will realease a final version one day. But it is not this day ;)

Usually this have to do with the presence of other mod or vanilla files in the same folder.
Did you copied the original ini.big in there with a different name maybe?

I copied all file in TROW folder to my main ROTWK folder. Only have Edain mod, but it is disabled.

ROTWK? My ROTWK working good when I replace it's orgin files again and deleting _trowmod. (lang, asset, ini, data.big)

Ok so played the alpha, I like the idea that you are going for, also the smaller circles for the resource buildings is a way better approach than most mods, it allows for more buildings to be built in an area = easy to defend and fast resources and higher cp, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done and honestly the sub-faction system is a bit much, maybe later on it will work better but as is it feels like to much for one faction to be able to recruit 5-6 types of archers 7 types of swordsmen... split the factions, its a lot of work but just try, its a kind of love hate thing for me, on the one hand its a new system but feels like someone is filling up a mug and the coffee is spilling over, what if you split the elves make a Lorien faction and give them access to imladris allies (spear-men, swordsmen and cavalry) this will allow a faction focused on archery access to late game strong melee units to complement their archers, either unlocked by a power or fortress upgrade? idk i like the idea so far but ya lets see what your end product will be like, thanx for sharing your work! always great to see new mods being released.

I'm aware that this mod make it feel like a bucket filled with units and heroes.
That could be dispersive in some cases but as i wrote on the article it's also the core of this mod.

If you prefer splitted factions there are mods far better than mine :(
Though, i have some ideas about how reduce this feeling a bit, like faction upgrade o single building upgrade :)

Well lets wait and see then, one can never have to many mods right lol, thank you for not killing me about the comment. Some people are extremely sensitive on moddb at least you actually read it and saw that i was not negative about it but unsure lol. Asked a friend to try it out and he loved the idea so just shows how every persons taste is different.

finaly played the mod today,god this mod is AWESOME,the units the balance,the functionality,i had so much fun and i love the new units and skins,finaly i found something far more fun than vanilla rotwk,great work man,keep it up finish the mod,you are great

I totally agree, just Idrial is way too OP, it's like two Gandalfs and three Ring Galadriels for like an eighth of the price :) and she levels up so quickly

Hey guys, I have a problem and maybe this is a noob situation. How can I put the mod on? Is just put the files on the folder or need something else? I patched to 2.01, tried to put the files on the folder but now he ask me for a cd/dvd again (it was cracked before). Can anyone help a noob? thanks!

Hello, I downloaded the mod but I have so many problems with it. I don't think I missed a single step in the installation process....for example, I installed Dagor Dagorath and it runs normally !

With TROWMOD, when I launch the mod, I have the original ROTWK....there are just minor differences with the appelations, for example the dwarves become Erebor or the Elves, the Lothlorien....into the game it's the same thing...the spiders pit for Goblins become the Warg pit etc etc...

I think you're running another mod together wit TROW since i never changed Dwarves to Erebor, every faction is the same as vanilla :)

Having trouble getting the mod working. It just says something about FX death for agandaur. I've reinstalled the game twice and checked the options which says it's running 2.01. Mod sounds good so I'm confused why it's not working. Main issue seems to be something with with the ini file because iv'e tried it with all the others and that seems to be the only one it has trouble with.

hello, your mod looks awesome, and i just recently installed the 2.1 patch rise of the witch king, and downloaded the file that was put on this page, and went to the files but couldnt see how to finish instalation, so im confused how to do that

I love how the mod looks! Amazing work! But I am running into a problem when I enter the game. During skirmishes many units do not appear, like they are invisible. Is it a video setting problem or a problem within the files?
