As an effort to better match up with Universe at War, Defilers and Glyphcarvers no longer use plasma weapons, but rather use a beam as they do in UaW.

This brings the Hierarchy pretty much back to canon with the exception of the Walkers (which I will get to soon enough) and the Saucer. The Drone will be renamed the saucer and have a similar function to what it had in UaW, but it will not be able to repair units.
do you use: a long laser transparent model,a special ability or a continuous stream of particles for the yellow projectile? if it´s not a secret...
I use the Lancet's attack ability with a different lightning effect. I used the same code in Halo: First Offensive for the Covenant ships, but this didn't work very well with some space unit AI.
Having the glyth carver as an attack unit is a bit unnerving to me, but I guess it could work. Good job with the laser beam BTW.
Well, the Glyphcarver can't be used in its role as a production unit (due to limits of the engine), but I didn't want to leave it out.
why not make the glyph carver a mobile repair drone/medic would make it more support like in UAW & be more canon friendly
This info is a bit outdated, and the Glyphcarver is being redesigned to fit canon. The details of this are still in the works and will be revealed when finalized.
