Gameplay Video, VoiceContest and a short list of new features!

We search for the voice of our character!

VoiceContest
We need YOU to finish our mod, because our English is not as perfect as we want it to be and our voices are not good enough for a game character...

Requirements:
-You must speak perfectly English
-You must have a microphone without background noise
-Enough time

What is good but not necessary:
-ICQ Account
-UnrealEditor skills

As I have already written our English is not perfect so you should interpret our script a little bit and build the sentence so that they sound better.

The deadline of the contest is Friday the 3rd July .After that deadline we will choose the winner. Please record the examples below and send it as .zip, .rar or .7zip to unrealer2@gmx.de

Examples:
a) What has happened? Am I dreaming? (your are lying in stream and you are not completely waked up)
b) There are two clips left.
c) Ouch (you are hit)

GamePlay Video
I recorded a short GamePlay video where I cut different scenes together to show you how it will look like when it's done. It is still everything Work in Progress but many things are almost finished.

In addition to that I uploaded some ingame screenshots and want now to describe some features:

The Clock
Your clock shows not the time but your ammo in the current weapon as number, the available magazines in the background as lines and the lights your actual pulse. If the pulse is too low you get senseless. Is it higher than normally you can activate the BulletTime with pressing ‘F'. The abilty for BulletTime is signalizest by a gong.

The injection
With a injection you can boost your pulse. It can be used by pressing ‘2' or ‘3'.

Aiming
[WuTz]! has scripted a DynamicPostProcessVolume which enables to focusing of the object in the middle of the screen. To aim you have only to press the right mouse button.

Impressive visuals. Some of the animations for the AI seemed a bit lacking but for the most part everything seemed pretty smooth.

Really liked the use of ironsights and the bullettime effects add some uniqueness to the 1st person gameplay.

You're right, the animations need some last tough. But at the moment our main aim is to finish all maps as far as possible. When this is done we will go on with details.

bei den Waffen fehlt der Rückstoß, ich denke das kommt sicher noch

die Maps sehen super aus, auch wenns irgendwie total unpassend wirkt. Ich hätte mir bei einer Alieninvasion die Welt anders vorgestellt.

Schraubt die Bluteffekte runter, denn selbst das staubigste Alien würde bei einem Pistolentreffer (auch wenss ne Desert Eagle is) nicht explodieren.

Ich bin sehr beeindruckt weiter so!

Awesome! I love the way you guys presented the main menus and loading screen. :D The visuals are coming along nicely too. Seeing as how this is an early version of the mod, I trust that you guys will fix the animations and effects in due time. ;)

The menu is pretty cool, however the animations as stated previously are quite bad TBH everything just looks so stiff anyway i also wanted to mention that i don't really like the maps its well done and all but i find everything is too crowded on screen, you have way too many things going on at once, its nice to have details but when you have too much stuff going on its too much for the eye especially when the trees and grass are animated as well anyway that's just my point of view.

Things do seem a bit crowded and of course the animations need some work(gun animations, enemy, etc) but everything standing still looks good. will this work on the PS3?

Probably not, because I have a XBoX...at first we will release it for PC, after that we will think about it. At the moment we need strongly a voice for our character!

It looks really cool, but the way he held the pistol bothered me, it was too far to the left. Also the pistol animations are bad or nonexistent, but I'm sure you guys are working on some. :)

When we move the pistol more right you can look through the right arm, therefore is would be not a good idea to move it.

The ReloadAnimation does exist, a fire animation is finished and has only to build in.

In addition to that we are working on a new weapon: The Stone

When you have no ammo anymore you need a weapon to protect yourself, so we decided to let the player throw stones...

no thats a stupid idea, use a knive ore any other decend melee weapon, but no stones! The are just useful to confuse your enemies!

A knife is a great idea, like in far cry... i think it was a butterfly knife. rocks would be cool to confuse enemies like said though.
