New version with corrected error and some additions for the family, the name and the portrait of the factions. There is a possibility that the mod crashes but just restart it.
Total War - The War of the Houses (Lotharingia) is a mod that aims to change the player's view of the game compared to what has been done in other mods so far. As you may have gathered from the mod's title, you will not be playing a kingdom or a people but a dynasty or a great noble family. There is a risk of bug : Just restart the game. Thank you for your understanding. Do not hesitate to tell us in the comments where it bugs to help us fix the problem.

- New campaign map (2x larger than the M2TW campaign map).

- 2 turns in the campaign equals one year.

That's my trade mark error message instead of the generic one. You will need to have a closer at the log, preferably in trace mode.
Thanks for using my Bare Geomod setup as base for your mod
The crash might be the 'BecomesFactionLeader' bug - it happens when the FL and FH are the last named characters and get wiped out in the same battle, usually a siege battle.
Only way around that is to delete the trigger section of the EDCT file, play past the crash and then restore the full EDCT again.

I started on the Ardennes house and had the same problem. This time I was able to approach the 100th lap. I think the problem comes from me, but I don't see what it could be.

I haven't tried uninstalling the mod and reinstalling it. I don't think the problem comes directly from M2TW because all the other mods work perfectly.
maybe, could you take a look on what's happen just before the bug start with the toggle_show cheat, just for seeing where and why it happen?
And what your "system.log" folder that you found in your M2TW folder. Juste the last line where error is written.
Using the code can take time, I've never used it. You mean for example if a character disappears, an army freezes...?

Pas de soucis, c'est seulement si tu as le temps de ton côté.
le system.log note page se trouvent dans steam>steamapps>common>Medieval II TotalWar et c'est le dernier fichier normalement.
Il suffit que tu recharge ta partie, xlique sur ù et utilise le code toggle_fow puis entrer pour voir la carte et le mouvement des ia pendant que tu passes le tour. Evidemment fait le si tu en as envie et le temps, de notre coté nous reglons aussi de potentiel problème.
It seems that the problem is completely random. During a crash, I reload a game and the problem disappears. For example, I found myself with a diplomat (from another faction) crossing the sea on foot and then the game crashed. I reload and the game works fine. Another example: With the cheat code active no problem but when I put the fog of war back the game crashes.
The only solution I see is to have to uninstall everything (including the original game) and reinstall everything.
I'm not sure about the accuracy of my English ^^

Thanks for your feedback, Dadasauvage has fixed about 40 bugs and I have released a new version (Alpha 1.1) which should be available soon after ModDB has checked the file. This version fixes a lot of bugs but you may still crash but just restart the mod. If there are other bugs or abnormal things don't hesitate to tell us in the ModDB comments ! ;)
Ok I'll look at this as soon as possible. Is there a list of mods you would like me to test?
