Total Chaos is a total conversion mod for Doom 2 that runs on the GZDoom source port. The mod is a survival horror set on a remote island known as Fort Oasis. The island was once run by a community of coal miners which one day suddenly disappeared, leaving behind the abandoned concrete jungle to waste away. Something, clearly, has gone very wrong with this place. Upon your arrival at Fort Oasis, you receive a strange radio transmission. Someone wants to be found.

Masterpiece! It is amazing, what a potential GZdoom has as an engine. Not only can Doom be launched and modernised with its help, but also something completely different and marvelous can be created based on this engine.

One of the best atmospheres of a horror game I've ever seen. The gameplay never gets boring with all the unique level designs and new monsters. Loved the sound design, story, graphics etc.
The only con for me is the optimization. The game is prone to crashes unless you get help from the discord server.
Can't wait for the UE5 standalone remake, will buy it as soon as I can if it's not free.
