This is an overhaul modding project of the mod 'The Last Days of the Third Age' (TLD) for the game M&B Warband. We aim for overhauling TLD mainly visually, replacing armouries to look similar to the ones known from the films.

Nice.

During my isengard save i wanted a mix of uruk hai, isengard, moria and gundabad orcs but i was really bothered by the size of the moria orcs.

But honestly i was also kinda disappointed in their combat performance.
For archers i would get isengard ones because they deal piercing damage while orcs are just cut damage. Lothlorien, mirkwood elves and dwarfs were far too heavily armoured for my orc archers.
Frontline was made by powerful uruks with sword and shield as core and isengard orc spam who uses blunt weapons which capture enemies and they can also overwhelm enemies with numbers.
Gundabad provided cavalry because they use lances and have better stats/higher levels than isengard warg riders while moria riders are using swords which is a bad weapon choice for cavalry.

For balancing them out we might need more trial and errors. They will get cheaper, so the Moria Orcs will have bigger armies again like the other Orc armies and the player can also have more of them.
In total: Moria is not regarded as finished faction yet, we are still working at them ^^

I actually like the idea of stronger orcs without the population bonus mechanic but since isengard is the neighbouring evil faction, there is little reason to pick stronger orcs over uruk hai.

If moria gets downsized, will all orcs remain tiny or might gundabad or even dol guldur get upsized stronger orcs? Dol guldur is kinda boring since they are just mordor without black numenoreans and uruk hai.

For Gundabad, they might get some few bigger Orcs into their lines, we have already been discussing that a bit in the team. There are no big plans yet for them since the overhaul for that faction is still a bit away.
For Dol Guldur, it makes sense that the Orcs are similar to the ones from Mordor, they get reinforced from that region. I have however some thoughts about implementing also some Rhun Mercenaries at their faction which would make it a bit more interesting perhaps. However, same as for Gundabad, the overhaul is still a bit away.
