This full conversion mod lets you play the original game and your beloved custom stories in a modern environment, of course in a not so realistic way, but it truly changes the maps' atmoshphere. This is your mod if you like todays' tools like flashlight, electric lamps, glowstick, motion tracker, plastic boxes and so on. Also if you're a fan of mods like White Night and Mental Memorial, this might interest you..
Note, that this mod only support custom stories, not full conversion mods. I cannot make sure that no bugs or crashes will be noticed, players' creativity sometimes cause weird model usage (mine also), which makes my modified ones looks not well placed or buggy.If you find some of these events, write them down in a comment, and i'll try to find a way to fix it (if possible). That's it, have fun, and keep an eye open for bugs!

The mod is old, and will not release further updates, as of 2022 after balance patches. For mods more representative of my skills, check the updates of the Desolation custom story, and my other works.

PS : PlayerStartDeath_2 put that somewhere on the floor NEVER in acloset with stuff in it.
The player will collide and do weird things like... putting outside of the map!
Be aware for ALL errors\glitches before uploading!

i can't do anything about the coin chest that won't work even if i try so hard. i won't reupload these are not bugs.. if you don't like it rate in your opinion. i tested it a thousand times and i haven't spawned out of the map any time.. the closedt worked well as a good hiding point always
i'll try to find a way to fix the death restart points, sorry i was really tired in the evening
Don't know what to do here: I searched whole underground map and don't know where I find explosive materials to destroy that cave in, I have three chemicals already waiting on that "Lab thingy with those valves to turn" Give me some kind of hint how to make progress here and get that final chemical.
It's really good story so far. :)
under the stairs in the first area you can go down the stairs to find the first barrel containing the explosive's first part. then, go back to the previous map, go up the stairs and there is a second barrel behind the iron bars. you'll find out the rest :)

Good job, I waited for the custom story, now I will try this.
sorry for the delay, i'll need one more week for this, because i don't want to release the custom story in an unfinished condition! many new puzzles and scares just appeared in my head which had to be created.. keep playing the original mod, but wait for Desolation with your rating!
Does that download replace anything?
if you mean original files, then i'll say no. it's a separated full conversion mod, with its own launcher. the mod temporarily replaces lots of objects but just in game, in the folders, none of them.
