Today after years in development, I'm pleased to announce that the TIE Fighter Total Conversion (TFTC) for X-Wing Alliance has finally been released! This project brings the 1994 LucasArts title of TIE Fighter, made by Totally Games, into a more modern era. Built upon the X-Wing Aliance Upgrade mod, which radically overhalus the game engine into something far prettier, TFTC includes all 13 original battle campaigns (base game + both expansions), cutscenes, voiceovers with a remastered iMuse soundtrack as well as a Reimagined campaign spanning 8 battles, which imagines a larger scale version of TIE Fighter, had the technology of the time not limited the original developers.

I have attempted to use this as it looks awesome!! Upon installing the mod using GOG's x-wing alliance, I get errors that files are missing, and the mod installation closes :(
This sounds like you have not installed the XWAU Update 4 patch if its talking about missing files. Please make sure you follow the install progression path, we have posted a tutorial video on how to install as well.

Too much bloom. Other than that it looks good.
Maybe just have bloom on explosions?
Hi, you can adjust or turn off bloom settings and even fine tweak them to explosions and such in the Bloom.CFG file.
Really looking forward to playing this game again,
But when i get to the step to run the palpatine total converter, on the select components screen i do not have the option to select Load a total Conversion.
I did follow to the steps to install xwa - XWAU2020.exe - XWAU2020update_v4.0.exe and then the TFTC_1.0. exe
am i missing a step?

16:9 and 16:10 resolutions are already avaliable, you choose these options when you initially install XWAU or you can use the Babu Frik configurator to change this. Alternatively, find the file Hooks.ini in the root folder of your TFTC install, there's a section there regarding resolution.
is possible create a Polish Language translation this game (or only one episode?)

I'm stuck on the mission, where your transports have to capture a stations weapon cargo, but the station fires on them. The one where you are in a tie bomber. I summon reinforcements, and the gunboats just destroy the platform and then I fail the mission. Battle 2 Mission 2 - Intercept Attack
The mission is partially bugged as is B2M4, but we are releasing a patch hopefully today that includes fixes for these missions.
This is a cool mod and I can't wait to play it, but why isn't this mod for the TIE Fighter game instead of XWA?
Because we wouldn't be able to do what we have done with the TIE Fighter engine. That's kinda the whole point of this total conversion :D

Hi, sounds like your Anti-Virus is being over-zealous and deleting it. Disable your AV software or have it allow the file and that should fix the problem.
