Conyard mechanic is pretty much finished and is as robust as I could make it in the Generals engine. This means the two most important aspects in terms of coding (Tiberium and Construction Yard system) is done, so expect a video showing them off not too far away!
Generals Zero Hour is better.
It's certainly true that ZH adds onto vGen in terms of mechanics; rider logic and status weapons would be nice to have here. In terms of a Conyard system that is more accurate to the Tiberium/RA games, though, there's nothing that ZH adds that would change that. In fact, there's no limition that Generals has in comparison to ZH that prevents me from achieving my aims at all.
It comes down to which game is closer to my aims and which is more stable for me, and vGenerals is that game.

Solid looking base... I would point out tho.. you could have US as well and GDI as an offshot from the US/UN... should consider nod as well. Just suggestion. you're the modder-! :)
I'd prefer the high tech, medium tech, and low tech dynamic that 3 factions provide. It'll mean more uniqueness between them.
Story-wise, GDI already represents the UN response to the situation, so a separate US/UN faction wouldn't really fit. And Nod, they've been defeated in the first Tib War, so I have no interest in them as a major story or gameplay entity.
Maybe you might wanna retrofit GLA into some eastern european/ North african Terroist organization with hit and run tactics that resembles nod.. but maybe won't say it's nod,, you know.. :) I'll be waiting for this mod to happen dude.. Thumbs up.
