Hello everyone!
First, thank you all for voting for this mod in moddb awards, as always it is most appreciated, thank you :)
I know, Im bit late with any news, and yet I was busy this year and made some stuff for this mod to show you.
As you can see on new pictures Cabal is getting into shape, with some maybe surprising additions, like Obliterator heavy tank ... yeah I can´t deny where that idea came from :D
But as huge terminator fan I just have to use this oportunity to build something like that. I mean its robot faction, it make sence, right?
And I have changed some coloring on cabal weapons, less blue weapons (with some exceptions) and more orange/fiery lasers and plasma. Blue was just not evil enough for cabal if you get what I mean :D
I can also add some cool technology to Cabal that I always wanted but just don´t fit anywhere else. Like cryo weapons that let you freeze enemies.
Also I must say I'm super happy to see people still playing this mod and that makes me coming back too.
Again I can't really promise anything, but it is my personal wish to keep this mod going and maybe get to some release next year ... well we will see.

I'm really glad this mod is still alive and kicking. CABAL is a great addition. It would be awesome to see CABAL and The Forgotten joining the fray.

There is nothing wrong to use Skynet as inspiration for Cabal, even better this way one can "roleplay" that we are playing a Terminator rts :P

I like CABAL and I like that he got Terminator units. Fits perfectly. Please more of them, especially a Hunter Killer air unit! And those beam cannons look a little bit like a Separatist Snail Droid. :D

Nice work mate. This is still my favourite/ultimate version of the Tiberian universe.
Looks awesome so far but I have a question: will Nod still have their own cyborgs, or they all will be moved to the Cabal faction? If it's the latter, then it would be a great opportunity to reintroduce the Elite Cadre into Nod's roster so as to fill the heavy infantry role. They probably would have faster movement speed and a special ability (probably hallucinogenic grenades like KW's Confessors), but a smaller HP pool to compensate, just like in Firestorm. Anyway, thanks for keeping this awesome game alive and good luck. :D
I'd love to see more Terminator inspired units. That flying gunship from the future war scenes would be cool too.
It would be more than great if you implemented Cabal. A week ago I reinstalled Tiberium Essence and realised that I was 13 when I played it for the first time in 2009, and then kept returning every couple of years. This mod is not just interesting or fun, for me it's also deeply nostalgic. Truly wonderful that you still work on the mod!
hope you're still working on this. by far, my favorite mod of all of the available ones for CnC. yes, entire series.
