This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.

The actual superweapon attack has been already done and can be seen here

I suggest you to keep the "Ion storm" as support power to create a no fly zone in a specific part of the map. So you can give a more "brutal" power like a seismic calamity (with some monsters within?) or a Tiberium storm.

Could be both, though it might get ugly if you can call in a small ion storm that only damages aircraft AND bring Thor's full furious might down on some poor sap's base.

Hey, here's a though: Don't give them a 'proper' superweapon at all, and instead make it build a disposable, single use tiberium bomb unit that trains for about as long, and maybe does a bit less damage to account for the extra control?

I think superweapons are essentials for each side (for balance reasons).

A support ability may be really powerful (regarding the cost and the technology required), if it's a Tier 3 and 3000 cost ability, can be a large area and can disable half a base (if not a whole base if well launched) for some seconds. No radar, no stealth detection (neither for turrets), no aircraft can fly. Only infantry ang ground units can defend the base. Who uses that ability can have great advantages while's attacking the base. This ability may be great for a commando infiltration or for a total assault.

In Tiberium series, there arent support superweapons. Or not like Chronosphere or Iron Curtain. There is Ion Cannon, Nuke Missile, and Scrin's black hole.

Yes, earthquake aside (fascinating but other superweapons attack everything on ground and air), I would suggest a sort of "Tiberium detonator". Once launced, the crystal explodes and the fragments hit the area, damaging everything. This is a sort of hybrid between the orbital attack and the good old meteo storm. Easily balanced, not too much technologic, Tiberium based. I guess it's suitable for the Forgotten. :p

why not have it as a sort of lure for ai tiberium fields or floaters since the forgotten have show aptitude with training fiends or other tib creatures as well as a storm to destroy only air units. Thats sort of forgotten style.

I think I should make a big ion storm

I think a big earthquake with some dangerous Tiberium crystals would be really nice. Very effective against structure and vehicles.

Check my idea on the next image, I think its cool and plays along a bit with Tib crystal beneath the surface.

Forgotten žijí v Red Zone, kde se vyskytují jontové bouře. Třeba se naučili jak je lokálně vytvářet?

On the one hand, the Scrin technically already employ their own artificial ion storms, but obviously as a support power only and of much lesser potency.

On the other hand, I for one cannot think of anything else the Forgotten could use as their superweapon but "summoning" massive ion superstorms, except perhaps that idea above about a tiberium-based seismic generator, which tbh does pretty original.

Hum we already have 3 factions with superweapons that deals a huge aoe damage. It's hard to build a different one...

Looking at this, I almost feel like this should deploy a particularly virulent form of Tiberium that chokes up infrastructure/vehicles, and poisons infantry, then explodes violently as it destabilizes. That way, you can use the crystalization death on more than infantry!

A bit late, but I think that would look nice to see a "salvaged scrin storm tower" where the big crystal is... like any kind of antenna used to start the storm.

Testing forgotten superweapon. Maybe something like weather control machine with huge crystals? That creates large lightning storm.
