This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.

Plasma is "mainstream". :p Beam with linear damage would be good. :p

Focused Tiberium Conversion Beam. Converts matter into Tib, its very scientifically innacurate but would provide for a crystalized death. Plasma would just burn or desintegrate (if hot enough) the enemies.

Could also have a modified version of the Tib Rifle from Renegade, the ammo is empowered by the Forgotten's intimate knowledge of Tiberium and crystalizes the enemy much faster on impact.

Yep, can't really think of anything better than this, for the most part.
Though, perhaps a mid-sized blue Tiberium crystal or a canister that cracks into a fine(ish) powder of the stuff on impact would be better suited to the faction.
Though, that again depends on how you mean to portray them.

If you do, you could also give the projectile a light blue glow to explain away why otherwise slow-growing blue Tib turns somebody fully solid in such a short time span. Or just repaint everything green, but that mostly just replaces your problems.
And you went back to the plants, so there's that slight caveat as well.

Now, I am not the largest fan of RA3 and all its weirdo tech. But, why not a nod to the Cryotrooper from Uprising?

As a regular unit, yes.

C400 charges? Am I detecting a Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon reference here? :D

A crystallizer beam sounds better imo - plasma is more Nod's territory - as long as it's actual tiberium conversion and not freezing because, as it was already said, tech like freeze rays should stay in RA.

I think a weapon that crystallizes its kills and then turns them into tiberium pods that can later be harvested could make for an interesting mechanic.

New model looks good! :) Although personally I don't see why railguns should be a uniquely GDI thing. The Forgotten had them in Tiberian Sun and have worked with GDI on many occasions and even with Nod sometimes, so it would make sense for them to retain some forms of GDI and Nod tech, especially since a lot of their stuff is salvaged from second-hand sources.

It's a simple choice to keep high the variety, so each side can have its unique technologies.

Maybe the barrel of the weapon should be smaller. Just for the looks, giving it less spread. But it's only a minor detail.

realise i'm kinda late for the Party, but this tech looks kinda cool. For once i find myself agreeing with FortressMaximus, Tib-Plasma is NOD Tech.

I'm guessing its some kind of heavily modded railgun or something - crystalising flesh seems like a cool idea, i'm assuming its firing super-cooled liquid tiberium or something; which rapidly crystalises on contact with the target, reacting to their body temp. (we know that tiberium growth is restricted in high and low temperature environment so even a small amount of heat could kick-start rapid crystalisation under these conditions)

Seems like they shatter easily but it might be interesting to make the Crystalised Husk harvestable and/or explosive.

Description

New model for our favored forgotten commando - Ghost Stalker. While railguns are unique to Gdi now, Ghost require new devastating weapon, maybe rapid fire plasmagun can do, or some sort of beam weapon? Im not decided yet but is will crystalize ("freeze") enemies that is for sure.
