This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.

It seems a bit big to be considered "medium" :p

medium refers to the thickness of the armour plating not the size of the unit but i do have to agree that it is indeed badass

Weight and role are usually bigger factors for it.
Most countries' heavy tanks were intended for breaking through enemy lines* or holding your own, which is what they usually ended up doing.
*'Primarily' designed for it, so heavy all-round armour, and a big punchy gun that can make buildings and everything else go away.

But again, it's mostly purpose, heck, even if you go by weight, modern MBTs go from ~30-70 tonnes globally, and I'm not even going to mention Nazi Germany.
Heck, WWII-era Hungary went by gun calibre, with a 75mm gun being enough for a heavy.
