This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.

the titans must have some feet magnets to keep them stable on the ground, only when they are fully functional, but if the NOD/Scrin forces destroy them, then they would collapse to the ground.

I mean, imagine. they might use these magnets to make their stable walking much stronger, because they might attract better to the earth's gravity force.

Gravity and magnetism are different things sir.
If I remember correctly the Tib sun titan had a counterweight on the side opposite the gun. Balancing the unit could be as simple as using light components on the gun and dense materials on the counterweight. That or they have really good gyroscopes XD

Counter-weight can been seen. so it has to be a counter-weight (its the opposite side of the gun, its that armor peice looking thing.)

YO... EVERYBODY.... just think about it...

there would have to be a lot of electronics to make the railgun work not to mension servos to make the gun shoot/aim.... so yes that size seems very correctly

railguns are guns that use electromagnetic rails to propel projectiles at mach speeds. this can make a small projectile have its fire power equal that or exceed that of a bigger round. the electronics are not in the barrels itself. the electronics are somewhere else in the turret.

well they are energy weapons..kinetic energy weapons..the Railgun uses Electromagnetic force to hyper-accelerate a projectile that is about the size of a 50. cal slug to Mach 7 to mach 11 at the highest..and this is 2047 i would have thought that the gdi would have learned how to make the barrels compact and not overly large..and railguns have no servos..the turret is self does but the "Gun" does not

Interesting, but a 50.cal slug accelerated to, let's say, Mach 8, it should make an impact like a car-sized asteroid! And the kickback would probably tear apart the weapon itself true?

nope, I think you dont really understand the physics of this weapons.
you have the projectile loaded and its getting shot forward by magnets accelerating it. no recoil cuz no black powder or explosion.
its very efficent cuz all of the electronic energy used for the magnets directly transforms into kinetic energy(kinetic energy is the energy of mmovement) what is a lot
but yeah the effect arent very logically(although they are awesome and shouldnt be changed. here's a video of a real rail gun Youtube.com and the newest recently hit about 8 mach at speed

Technically, rail guns do have recoil (you cannot throw Newton out of the window) but realistically the recoil is somewhat neglible.

yeah,with no magnetic stabilizer,the recoil will send predators and Mammoth flying backwards.and titans will fall on back.Imagine these things on MK II !!

seriouz i dont like your titans.
The chasis looks very cool but those guns are much too big.
It looks way to unreal for me. I liked your older versions better.
At last Its your mod and you can make it how you want, i'l play it any way ^^
But this big gun reminds me too much of CnC4, and i really hate this game.
It would be cool if you could add more of those blu energy lines so that you can see the railgun is more of an energyweapon. Maby with some magnetig rails, dono. It looks like a ******* huge big stfu-cannon, and not like a highenergy railgun

Massive necropost on my behalf:

Absolutely love the work and attention to detail Carnius, but I gotta gripe about the titans as well. I remember the titans in TS stood tall. These ones look kinda stumpy and squat, mostly because of that huuuuuuuge cannon. Perhaps the railgun should be less fat and more sleek and streamlined. That would shut up all us complainers =p
