Tiberium Dusk is a re-imagining of the Kane's Wrath universe in a way I feel better fits canon, as EA did a pretty poor job with the C&C franchise continuity from Tiberium Wars onwards. This mod doesn't change anything with regards to the story but helps add elements to the gameplay that "fill the gaps" and provide a more Tiberian Sun esque experience (including all its flaws and unbalances) and departs away from the Kane's Wrath RTS formula. Still a work in progress, I've made changes to the AI (buffed turtle AI and made brutals harder), made changes to "Militant Squads" which make them work with the timeline of the franchise, changed the "Nod" faction entirely with a new name, as Kane's Wrath "Nod" works more of a splinter faction rather than a true "Brotherhood"; with Marked of Kane being the new face of the faction. There are also numerous changes to GDI and Scrin, especially Reaper 17 and Steel Talons, which make them play significantly differently.

Phewwww, good thing I got that UPS going before the power was cut xD.

Btw Tib apocalypse made both GDI's and Nod's harvesters based on their earlier TW concepts art, maybe you can ask the creator to use them instead of these trucks?

He usually allows it as long as you credit him.

Tbh I'm not sure where I'm going yet...

But I really want this Nod faction to be like GLA from Generals (sounds insane I know - but its probably my favourite faction xD)... so supply trucks kinda fitted the theme.
(workers would be dumb ofc lol)

I do have the Renegade harvesters (infact pretty much all the renegade vehicles) ripped, I just need to rig them for the engine... and I've gotten rusty with 3DSMax again. xD

But the main body of work I'm focusing on right now is to make the Nod Legion faction gameplay stand-out in an original way, I want it to be total chaos, with the uniqueness of all 3 GLA general types (stealth, demolition, chemical etc) combined.

It really is a case of me walking in the dark without a flashlight, but I have a lot of ideas written down in a big list so that helps. :P

So will they use stuff like tiberiun exposed mutants in similar vein to GLA using toxins? Would be cool of they were to get a variant of mutants as elite infantry.

Its a decent idea.

Essentially as I have it in my head right now, Nod Legion are the "fanatics" of Nod and they make up the majority of Nod across the globe.
They're disorganised, not as well armed as the other factions of Nod, but what they don't have in pure technology, they have in overwhelming force.

Black Hand are essentially the "Crusaders" of Nod, they go in to purify anything that opposes the brotherhood, using lasers, flamethrowers, powerful mechs and elite troops.

Essentially, Legion and BH are both religious groups, but different sides of the same coin.

Marked of Kane is literally Kane's private army, with the best technology of the 3.

I don't want to muddle the factions too much, but expect to see Legion use new tanks like the Toxin Tank (planned vehicle), Light Tank, Improved Chem Troopers (will likely swap from Marked to Legion), Apache Gunships and Classic APC's and Buggies. (based on their renegade models)

I have planned on potentially adding terrorists (superior version of the Fanatic squads) and Desolators (if possible) as well.

Expect to see Black Hand + Cyborgs removed from Legion though, as they wont fit the new design; Legion will get new GLA inspired gameplay mechanics to help make up for any changes though.

Avatar + Redeemer awaits to be seen, they certainly wont fit the new setup for Legion, so they might be replaced with unique units like what has happened with GDI. (MLRS, Classic Mammoth, Edited Marv Pacifier Tank)

I feel like one option you could go with for elite vehicle is some SSM reincarnation that fires extra volatile, dangerous tiberium missiles. Being reckless fanatics they do sound like the sort of people who would neglect own safety and field most destructive of weapons.

Notice anything different here? :)

Nod Legion is being worked on from the bottom up to be a truly independent Brotherhood faction, essentially, they are the antithesis of the other Nod factions.

This is the Brotherhood in its simplest, purest form. Lacking the advanced technology of the regular Brotherhood factions (Black Hand + Marked of Kane) early on, it makes up for it in raw manpower.

Nod Legion will not require a power system to operate any of its buildings (as seen above) and will forgoe the regular Nod Harvesters for cheap and cheerful (but also massive) supply trucks.

Nod Legion will also give up all the fancy early game technology of the other Nod factions (lasers etc) in exchange for militia in tents and tanks produced far cheaper than other Nod factions.

I also aim for them to have their own small suite of original support powers that better suit their low tech, high-manpower gameplay; which is being worked on now. ;)
