Not a big fan of the music, but let's see if it's very good as Frank Klepacki's style. :) In this case, very nice!

Not saying it isn't good, but unless this game is going in a different direction I thought initially, I don't see it as fitting.

Meeh, the beats and drums feel very bland. There area couple of odd sounding fades at around 0:40-0:50. The orchestral parts feel very unfitting to the "classic" C&C music, feels more like the Generals USA score.
Overall, I find it annoying that the score there are so many many many many many fades from loud to gentle, it just makes it feel not like a single piece of music but several dozen tracks played one after another.

It's very nice but doesn't fit.

I understand all of your concern, and I have to agree that its not quite the direction I was expecting either. However, it is an excellent piece that was composed before we were notified about it (at least, I wasn't notified till after). Regardless, I've already requested a more fitting audio track which was gladly acknowledged. Time will tell to see what the new piece beholds for us.

While I'm at it, I would like to get your opinions as to what type of music would seem "fitting". You can reference any online video or give types/genres (cold, dark, classical, techno, whispy, etc). Basically anything descriptive will help.

Thanks again for all the feedback guys and girls!

Off the top of my head:
I found the combat music in C&C 4 to be fitting(To the Death, The Harder They Fall), more specifically the sort of industrial/electronic percussion aspects alongside violin. While the vocals are decent, they complete the songs more in a 'good enough' way at times, I'd avoid anything sounding like the breakdown in To The Death(2:31-3:16).

Hate to sound like someone absolutely obsessed with Frank Klepacki, as many C&C fans are, but he does a good job with Ancient Presence from Universe at War. Youtube.com, I think something to that effect would make great passive music for either faction.

i think it is bland, and the drums arent needed. i think it should have more instrumental parts. sounds more like something for red alert and generals. looks promising, but needs edits
