Tiberian Sun Rising is a total conversion for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars! Tiberian Sun Rising brings back GDI and Nod battling it out during the Second Tiberium War, retelling Tiberian Sun as never before. This isn't just a remake of the hit title C&C Tiberian Sun. It is a mod making Tiberian Sun as it should have been originally so expecting lots of new fun and originality while sticking to the feel Tiberian Sun had. Taking the mindset that this is the first time Tiberian Sun is being made and using the original game as a design concept. This mod will also include the additions made in Firestorm so it is a remake of Tiberian Sun and Firestorm as one to what they should have been.New abilities and units will appear in Tiberian Sun Rising as well as new kind of gameplay altogether.

I sure hope the range is less useless than the TS one.

Range is quite further then TS, what the range limitation will be in the final will depend on balancing. I also want to test it without a range limit see how the gameplay changes.

This was textured by one of our newer members Sgt, he did an amazing job at nailing down our styling for Nod on his first attempt :).

Nice! If range is limitless it will be much like that EMP control center.. Maybe just make longer range then in TS. Also make it like a support power so it would be easy. :D

This is one of our newer models too, so if it looks more detailed and refined then some of our other ones. That's because it is :).

I also didnt use them much in the original TS I found their low range way too limiting, so it will be alot more useful in TSR.

What? It was friggin awesome in TS. Stopping armies in their tracks so you could pound on them with your units without getting shot back at was niiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

Agreed with Stephanovich, the EMP Cannon was brutal in Tiberian Sun.
Infact, it pretty much made tank rushing in the game near impossible.

After Red Alert Westwood stated alot of players complained about tank rush prevalence, so they introduced the EMP Cannon for Tiberian Sun.

To be honest, when combined with slow unit build speeds in Tiberian Sun (as multiple factories didn't increase build speed as they did in RA), it was probably one step too far in making tank rush less viable.

I never said it was useless, I just said it could be awkward at times to use effectively.

heres a good taktik to prevent Subterranean units to enter your base instead of Pavement all over your base: Construct a Sensor array and a EMP cannon, then when you spot a subterrenean unit target the ground in front of the unit/units and when its hit, it burrow its self up to the surface of the ground, and you can jush rush over to them and destroy them whit ease. This taktik works very well for both GDI and Nod. ;D
