Thrawn's Revenge is a large-scale mod for Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It includes the events of the Galactic Civil War after Palpatine's death at Endor, up until the signing of the Pellaeon-Gavrisom treaty. If you own the Steam version of EaW, you will have to complete extra steps to run the mod after installation. Please see the manual for these steps.

I dig it. If you're sticking with this red idea, it will look amazeballs. Also glad to hear you're not going full blue. Not to speak out of turn, but too much blue on the map makes my skin crawl. This as is, is great already though (:

It was a great starting point, thank you - for a long time I'd been trying to figure out what direction I wanted to go with the galactic map and flailing around with it, but this finally set us in a good direction.

Description

We've been looking at ways to change the visuals of the galactic map for quite some time, and recently Lord Enpremi from the Vong Invaders Expansion mod made and released a graphical overhaul which we have used as a base to make our own edits. His was more of a blue holographic look, so we've been working on some edits to bring it a bit more in line with the Thrawn's Revenge style, along with other UI edits. We toned down some of the effects so there was still more of a focus on the planets, and went to a hex-based grid (which we're also applying to other UI elements, like the fleet stacks. We also will be doing modifications to planet models and textures to make them look more holographic, but still keep the detail necessary to tell which planets are which types. Since it's so close to release, these overhauls will probably overlap with 2.4 as well.
