Description

The 7-Zip Version is 500 MB smaller and the invisible rope arrow problem is fixed! The mod pack includes a full version of T2X with high quality HD textures. The pack also includes the new sky mod (t2skies) and HD textures for trees and bushes. The mod brings new HD water and lava textures.

Is there a simple installer that just installs everything you need onto a fresh Thief 2 install (like the Thief Gold HD install) that doesn't require renaming this, moving that, opening this, editing that to get it to work? I seem to have absolutely no luck with getting Thief 2 to work with the HD Mod while the Thief 1 HD mod worked perfectly with just a single double click install.

Just run it through FMSEL as any Fan Mission! If you have also installed the "Thief 2 HD Texture Mod" you have to deactivate it: Rename the "HDMOD" folder into "HDMOD_".

Hey Bentraxx,

I don't seem to have New Dark Graphics and Water Tool's in the game files included with this pack. The game looks fabulous but I would just want to swap water type for one with 'less motion' if it's possible.

Are these excluded on purpose or have I messed something up? :)

I've installed fresh T2 through Steam, applied Tafferpatcher downloaded from ttlg forums and just unpacked and ran this with FMSEL.

You can try the 'uber_mod_path' in the 'cam_mod.ini'

You can create your own folder with the HD water and use it as 'uber_mod_path' what is maybe the best solution...

For example create a new folder called 'HDWATER' directly in your T2 main directory
-> create a folder called 'fam' inside and copy the folder 'waterhw' from 'HDMOD\fam\waterhw' to the new folder -> HDWATER\fam\

The uber_mod_path should look like this now:

; these are mod paths that override the active FM in the search order
uber_mod_path usermods+hdwater+hdwater\t2skies+patches
