Don't remove it - there is always some idiot who has to go around like a self righteous champion of copyright law telling people to remove things from their mods.
You are making a free mod, you are not making profit, and you never claimed it is your own - don't remove anything.
Problem with Moddb is that it is full of Jews like Pavikjan who want to blow their trumpet just because they love their own noise.
