The year is 1939. Hitler and his war machine have taken the sudetenland from Czechoslovakia. The world waits in terror and suspense as Germany finds her next target. Who will stand against the mighty German war machine. America thinks she is safe from conflict because of her isolation. France and Britain pledge full support to any country that feels threatened by Germany. September 1, German tanks role across Poland. London newspapers hail: Germany Invades Poland! Britain, France, Canada and Australia declare WAR. The Japanese are terrorizing China for their quest for expansion and since America has forbid trade with Japan, they cannot continue without American oil. Only a World at War.
Heroes of Democracy its mod based off Generals Zero Hour. It takes place in 1939, at the start of world war two. You can take command of either the mass armies if Russia or the German War Machine, The Great British Empire and the United States of America or you can kick Pacific style and command the Imperial Japanese! These are only the main factions and more will come, listed below. Each or at least most factions will come with a navy. Germany for example will focus on U boats and their battle ships will not be very good. America and Britain's aircraft carriers will be their strength.
