This mod's main emphasis is on survival horror. The storyline is changed. The 'cheesy' aspects are removed. Many game mechanics are fixed and new ones are added. It uses Gary's mod as a base..

Just watched the thing and got nostalgic about this game. Is the project still active? I'm just curious as I might just break down and play it as it is and am wondering if it'd be possible to play through the game with non-scripted breakouts, or if that feature of the mod is only kept in the first 4 levels.

Many thanks!

Can you mod the original soundtrack into the game?

You...Must...Continue the mod! D: Otherwise you are lying when you call it continuity, when in fact it ends sooner than the actual game!

Hi λpone.
I installed the mod and find it crashes every time on the cutscene where Pearce kills himself, (literally right before he shoots himself, after he says "like my dad always said..."). I have tried virtually everything (run compatibility mode, reinstall mod and game, leave squad behind, kill squad, start game again) to fix it and it is still not working as it comes up with "exe not responding". When I try and skip it by clicking on the level selector, it comes up with "missing walkerEntitySpawner". I try hitting enter and then the level starts but my character is moving at warp speed.
Also note to anyone that the game seems to only work in Windows 7 or lower, I will try to get up to the part where Pearce kills himself on Windows XP version (starting from scratch, as it does not have my other saves), if that works I'll let you know.
Anyway, I really like this mod and appreciate the effort you have put in. It's a shame the released game on Xbox was not worth playing more than like two times through (because of all the scripted moments, like wtf).

Did you try skipping the cutscene?

Sorry for the late reply. Trying to skip on Windows 7 still doesn't work for me but I have no problems with running the program in Windows XP compatibility mode. Thanks v. much for your response anyway.
