About the mod: The Storm of Steel is total-conversion for Half-life², based in the trenches and battles of the First World War. How it's fought. The mod is focused on realistic infantry team-play, in real-world environments, with the possibility of vehicles, in an Incursion style game-play - it's not your standard "Capture point A then point B" game; Each map will feature different, unique Objectives that can be completed by a number of means. Also, rounds are not limited by a time-limit, but by a Spawn-Limit, however, it is not a player spawn-limit, but a team spawn-limit, meaning the more players that die on a team, the less times players can spawn. A game of Attrition, if you will. When a team's "Spawn-tickets" run to Zero, that team is eliminated; Players also spawn in waves, and the more players that are dead at the time, the longer it takes to sally-up and reinforce.
