Call of duty: The Stargate is a total conversion mod for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This mod will totally reshape the look and feel of CoD4 gameplay and turn it into something new. This conversion is for Multi-Player only, You will play on one of two teams, The Goa'uld (Jaffa), or Tau'ri (Earth). Each class will be armed with very different loadouts for eg. Support class will be armed with a heavy machine gun (M60 for Tau'ri and a Deathglider Cannon for the Jaffa.)
DeathGliders Fly over
Are these pilotable?
Those palm trees....- honestly, not too keen on them.
You can't fly the deathgliders as of yet but maybe in the future ;-)
@X4VI3R: whats wrong with the palm trees? the models aren't good?
Oh, no- They're more than good, and the same about the textures.
It's just that there were no palm trees around the pyramid (nor anywhere to be seen on the planet). It's one of the main visual elements that constantly reminds you that "this is Abydos- not Gizeh, Egypt".
Artistically, they're fine, but- they just don't quite fit in there, IMO. Thus, i wouldn't say the same thing if (for example) they were in the city of Naggadah, though.
Great job (especially if it's a solo team, as i'm told you are).
Yeah I understand there we're no palm trees on Abydos, But as I was creating the sand dunes it just seemed really plain. (I know its suppost to seem that way.) As its still only in development I'm open to suggestions from everyone. :) and yes I've been working alone.
so im guessin this is an airstrike for a killing streak or something ?
Yeah it is, But these also fly over the map just for show
Totally agreed on the palm trees.
They don't fit at all.
Instead, what about a few free roaming mastadges (the burden beasts from the film)?
