I've been a major fan of all the series of Stargate since it first began, But for the past 6 or 7 years Ive been modding and mapping so I'm putting my experience and skills to the test by creating a total conversion mod for Call of Duty 4: MW. This mod is based off the No.1 Sc-fi series of all time Stargate SG1. I'm trying to capture as much detail as possible for the best gameplay and experience. The mod will feature the Stargate itself, instantly transporting you from Stargate command to an 'off world' location. The mod is currently only Multi-Player but I haven't ruled out Single-Player as of yet.

Abydos:
Abydos was the first planet reached through Earth's Stargate program and possibly the first world the Goa'uld brought humans to. Abydos is a desert world with a huge pyramid and acres of sand dunes. There is also a working ring platform when activated you get transported to Apophis's Hatak in orbit above the planet.
