The Slipgate Complex (Quake's E1M1) remake for Black Mesa Source (Steam standalone), featuring idBase-style assets, secrets and rocketjumping! Based on "The Slipgate Triplex" for Quake by Kell and Necros.
Possibly can grow into a Mission Pack, but for now I focused on one map.
Current stage - blocking out the layout and tweaking assets.
Later this week - more shots of first building's interior and lava flooding showcase.

Still alive?
I really hope this is still a thing! :O
It has been almost a year since I wrote here. I hope this mod is not dead because it is so promising and we are excited to get our hands on it!
Please break the silence, we are happy with even an update with a single screenshot :)
Thanks!

It's been 25 weeks dude :)
Any news or updates?
I said "I'll try", not "I promise". I desided to rework everything I've done so far: map will be more BM'sh than Quake'ish visually, but also will have some more/extended locations in exchange, nothing too fancy although. My problem was that I was too ambitious in terms of scale and features (as well as in aproach of mapping process), so now I'll try to make it more simple and closer to original and Kell/Necros' version, expanding only when I'll feel it possible for me and it works. I'm half way thru finishing my version of layout (not much on the art side yet), so the top-down view is probably next thing I'll show soon.
Ed: I also still have working rocketjump concept level (made using only HEditor logic), so probably will show that too, once polish it a little
Thank you for your respond.
Please, don't take it seriously. I was just kidding :)
I'm glad you answered my question. I hope you share some nice work in progress screenshots, videos, or articles (it can be just a few words we really don't mind) to keep your followers updated and make your mod more popular doing so, so that more people would know about your valuable work, get excited once in a while and enjoy it as it is released.
I want it! Keep it up!
Very nice! Have you considered Darkplaces?
No enemies?
Good idea :)
