18 BBY/2IY: Supreme commander of the Imperial Fleet, Lord Vader ordered the execution of Queen Apailana of Naboo on the charges of committing treason against the empire by harboring fugitive . The 501st was sent to eliminate her but the battle became a disaster the empire for a number of unexpected setbacks: On the land the 501st was shocked to see that the defenders of Naboo was leaded by their former brethren's from the from the famed Torrent company, the most veteran company of the 501st under the command of the traitors captain CT-7567 "Rex", the former second-in-command under Lord Vader. Under his command the Naboo defenders put up a deadly resistance and then lunched an even more deadly counterattack that drove them from the planet. In the bloody engagement, the 501st lost an entire battalion, entirely composed of veteran troops from the clone wars and Operation: Knightfall.
As the atmospheric deployment of large vessels for ground support role became more and more common, all side started to look for a unit that can take them out aside from static defenses. The RCA response to those deployments was the KAA-08 “Skysweeper”-class Air defense platform. Taking a slightly modified and enlarged KT-50 chassis, they armed it with Two RVW-20 compact plasma pulse blaster and two RVW-04 plasma autocannons in a 360 degree rotating turret mount. The resulting vehicle became a pretty much anti-everything platform as the plasma pulse blaster could tore the any armor and the autocannons could shred infantry and stikecrafts alike. This unit has its weaknesses however. Aside from that it is very slow and the compact plasma pulse blaster can only move horizontally and vertically, it is very poor armored and can be taken out by nearly any enemy armor. The lack f armor is somewhat compensated by ADS or Active Defense System, which when activated, can block incoming ordnance for limited period of time.
Abilities= Activated ADS, All power to weapons (Increases firing and damage rate, but makes the tank completely immobile. Useful for taking out enemy corvettes.

good show, however i think that the walkers should be an imperial project, a little to menacing for a republic looking to free the galaxy, perhaps an AT-TE Mk-II? i have a few ideas how it could look if your interested frodo
