sexy attachments :D But are they going to be interchangeable or are they going to just be on certain guns already?
They're upgrades that you equip, only one attachment at a time (laser sight, flashlight, or bayonet).
an nice system, but a question, will we be able to see our teammates flashlights when they have one equipped or is it like in l4d where you only see your own?
and what are the exact advantages of using the other 2?
im guessing the bayonet either adds a melee attack or increases an existing one, i cant remember if you ever said the mod would have melee so thats why im asking :)
The Bayonet would inflict more melee damage and the target instantly goes into bleeding mode. Usually (for both teams), bleeding does not start until you are at 25HP or less. For the flashlight, we are thinking of making it "Doom 3" style where you need to switch to your pistol in order to use your flashlight. You can't use your hand flashlight at the same time with a primary weapon. However, if you opt for the flashlight upgrade, that would no longer be issue. The laser sight would enable hip firing.

cool. This mod is really shaping up. Every release is more and more beautiful. Any ideas of a launch date? ;D
Hopefully soon, some recent events may either delay the mod or not really affect it at all. We'll have to wait and see.

Although complex attachment systems are pretty cool, this game doesn't need them. I'm glad you're sticking to the basics.
You unlock things as you gain points, a laser is one of the first attachments you unlock, later on you get the bayonet.

Hmm, this is looking really good! I hope you add different stances, and animations. It would be nice to see a different stance for a shotgun, or a pistol Haha, just to change it up a lil'.

a shotgun with a laser attachment, the world is worth living again :)
it's funny how the only thing are cared about in this mod were the facts that A, you made the guns realistic, as in you use the parts in the gun you would in real like (pulling the stock out on some guns, checking the ammo like you would in real life, etc.)
Then I liked how you used lighting properly (like the first FEAR and not the second)
Then I loved the amazing gun models
Then the custom sounds
and now a realistic and awesome weapon upgrade system...?
