Vaegir Flag Contest news - The Red Wars mod for Mount & Blade: Warband

Hey everyone, we have heard peoples feedback about the Vaegir flag being to unoriginal, and we agree. SO, we are going to give you all a chance to design a flag for the Vaegirs that will be featured in the mod.

This is more of an idea contest, not an an art contest. What this means is that you should be able to sketch out your idea on paper in a way we can imagine it as a fully polished piece. Our artists (or rather artist) can take care of the rest. But if you have the skills to make something polished, go for it.

What we are looking for:

• A unique design, that's substantially different from any flags that exist or have existed.
• A flag that shows the Vaegir's political association in a way that's apparent. Not subtle, but not obnoxiously obvious either.

How to Submit:

• Save your flag in any standard image format (PNG, JPG, etc.) and email them to thescreamingcommunist@gmail.com.
• If you draw yours on paper, scan it or take a photo of it, just make sure it is clearly visible.
• Please include your moddb username, Taleworlds or steam username with your submission.
• all entries must be emailed my June 1st, 2015.

Winners
Out of all the entries we will pick 3 designs that we like the best, then will hold a vote over on tale worlds to pick the winner. The first place winner will be the official flag for the United Vaegir Federation, the runners up will be added as banners for lords and the player. All of the top 3 winners will have one of their Red Wars characters immortalized forever as a companion in the mod.
For those of you complained about community companions breaking your immersion or whatever, i'll add a toggle-able option to disable them, just for you.

If this thing we are trying works out, we will do this again for the other nations.
