I am the Creative Director and Project Manager at Lambda Interactive, the developers for our new mod, The Orange Suit Project. Although it sounds naive, we are producing a Half-Life 2: Episode Two sequel. Our goal is to faithfully use the same methodology of making our mod in our design process as Valve once did for the making of the Half-Life franchise. It is to feature puzzles, down time, and most importantly, a lot of fun with the gravity gun. The mod features clever gameplay using the gravity gun that you have never seen. We are centric on the gravity gun because we thought it was underused in the original Half-Life 2 franchise.

However expected this may have been, The Orange Suit Project has now been put into stasis awaiting further development. If you are passionate enough, we will welcome you onto the team if you are willing to work on OSP, but we will not yet be giving away all our assets. The Lambda Interactive team has found new projects to work on including an arcade shooter, "Ricochet: Evolved." Other projects are also in the works that are being co-developed by Shockroach Entertainment and L.I., including the long awaited Half-Life: Decay Source engine remake, "Decay: Harmonic Reflux." These joint efforts seek to add more cohesiveness between the teams in hopes that maybe one day we can band together to all work on The Orange Suit Project. Please check out "Ricochet: Evolved." That project will soon be an open beta, with a working server. So stay tuned for more!

I knew it. But I'm still quite suprised. This mod has like a month or two ? And I gave you three years at most before you surrender. Shame, but it was expected and obvious that this project had no future.

P.S I know it's not cancelled but now you are one step closer to make it happen.

Looks nice! When you say Valve quality, can we expect that for things like voice acting, music, animation etc? Or is it just going to be level design? The level design does look great BTW.

We are in need of voice actors, but we are primarily referring to level design. Level design is expected to be completed within the next following months, so the rest of the dev cycle will be focused on all the remaining aspects.
