About The Opera The Opera is a game that places style and flair at its heart. Set in the world of asian gunplay films (HKBO's), The Opera offers a multiplayer internet dueling experience where victory is won through playing with élan and not with efficiency. Developed over a number of years at Redeemed Software, The Opera has so far seen a release as a modification (or mod), for the bestselling PC Game Half-Life, and is now being developed on Valve's Source engine. The first release of The Opera challenged multiplayer gaming traditions by rewarding players for the method of killing their enemies rather than the kill itself, while at the same time pushing the limits of the Half-Life engine with impressive movement options and animations.
