First of all ignore the gear and the look of the units, it will change and improve, its only for showcase the recruitment structure.

New troop tree viewer(credit to rubik as the author of that osp).

Native castle will not be called "castle" they will refer as small towns but act as a castle, most of the factions will have little different path, for example you see now the Mayan noble path from town, but for the Aztecs its:
elite warrior to jaguar warrior or eagle warrior.

From villages to towns:

*Troops in villages, its the same for ALL, you will have a low-medium global native troop tree from villages.

*Troops in castles for the Spanish, will have a "barracks" you can call it, that you can recruit "melee", "ranged" or "mounted" troops, melee will cost 15 for each, ranged 30 for each and mounted 75 for each, will refresh each few days(max a week and will have 4-20 random range of troops available, or the"no one is willing to follow you" option), for Natives the small town "barracks" will have the same only with no mounted, but they will have instead of that the priest type unit to hire from small towns(Aztec Coyote Priest for example and all native factions have 1 priest unit so no upgrade path at all, only available from recruit in the small towns temple).

*Troops in towns are only the nobles\elite, will cost you 200 for each troop.

Other than that if you are a Native culture player you can hire native troops\army from the Zapotec and the Huastec and if you have your own land as a ruler you can hire native army as well from your curt and if you have high renown and lots of money you could also hire a native professional\elite army, if you are Spanish culture player(European culture player) you can hire native troops\army from Zapotec and the Huastec as well and hire a native army from your curt when you own your land, but not the native professional\elite army, and you have a Port in Cuba where you can hire European mercenaries, or European armies, the European armies will have a delay of a week to arrive as they sail from Europe to Cuba(the Port armies should be oppose to the native elite hire army, but i guess in the port you can hire like 3+- types of armies while the natives have only 1 army type the Spanish cant acquire, the native professional\elite army, so its not the best balance... ill see what ill do about it later on).

Notice that cuz of that some of the troops dont have connected upgrade path, nobles and priest for example.

So mainly castles\small towns will be the prefer option to recruit troops and i guess villages recruitment will not be such in the player use in mid-late game.
