These two new images so some more progress for now.
One image shows the flame-thrower working with its thinner more aligned flame that works almost perfectly now :)
The second image is because someone said i need gibbing, so i made gibbing work. I know it looks a little extreme, but its needed. Blood goes everywhere, you will be able to shoot zombie heads off, and blow them into tiny pieces like legs and arms. A leg GIB is shown in this example :)

It is a plastic toy.
Its a super soaker, filled with lighter fluid, with a modified lighter attached to the front.

wouldn't the fire(or the heat) melt the plastic anyway?..so will this gun have a kind of durability? :D
No, because the flame is not close enough to the water gun. I even showed a video, and explained that i have tried this in real life... AND IT WORKS.
The gun does not get burnt, you just cant use it like an "automatic", you have to use it like a "semi-automatic" or else the flame will backfire and kill you.
I'm glad you said that, it should be funny to see the clueless people hold down the fire button, only to have the thing explode in their hands :P

Its a water gun filled with gas with a blowtorch on the end or just lit with a lighter. It actually works which is funny but IRL if done wrong has a chance of exploding.

Like more blood and chunks of zombies falling off. So if you check the other picture, blood has gotton EVERYWHERE, and there is a leg on the floor from corpse that has flown off somewere :P
This is a good idea (shows the character is inventive) but my opinion is that the gun should be a little shinier.
Well its dark in there, and its all grubby, so its not too dirty, and not to shiney either :)
sometimes those backfire and explode.. make it do that too on random :D x-Tra realism
They only backfire and explode if you just hold-down the trigger, but, i have mode it so its semi-automatic. This is becuase your character is not stupid, and wants to stay alive, therefore knows not to blow his arms off :P
A thinner flame is a good idea, nice work.
Yeah, after i figured out the particle editor i got to work, it also looks like the one in the video above more too :)

AH! thers another way to create an home made flame tower.
all you need to do is to attack a zippo lighter to a bug poison spray can and there you go!! (the first game that i rember using it as a real weapon is "BAD DAY L.A")
(its realistic, i tryed it myself. but its way more dangerous because the actual spraycan can literaly blow in your hand. so i guess that the water gun its a mutch...better choise :S)
^^ Proof that it works, its were i got the idea. Not some crappy old game. And the way the water gun works, so long as its pumped up properly, it wont backfire.

you could add overheat to it so if in use for a constant 2min it melts and you could throw it at the zombies and so its like a Molotov cocktail just a an idea post anyone to the idea so i now if its stupid ?
